{"id":19,"date":"2018-11-21T00:47:32","date_gmt":"2018-11-20T19:17:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jirsd.upub.in\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2026-06-16T17:05:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T11:35:12","slug":"author-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/upub.delhigreens.org\/jirsd\/author-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Author Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"benefits\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Manuscript Categories<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Journal of Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development (JIRSD) invites manuscripts\/ articles\/ research contributions under the following categories:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research Articles: Not exceeding 6,000 words.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">General Articles: Not exceeding 4,000 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Review Articles: Not exceeding 8,000 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research Communication: Not exceeding 2,000 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Book Review: Not exceeding 2,000 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">News: Not exceeding 800 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Correspondence: Not exceeding 600 words<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Opinion: Not exceeding 1,000 words and including maximum one display item<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/upub.delhigreens.org\/jirsd\/author-guidelines\/manuscript-categories\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Click here<\/span><\/a> to learn more about each of these manuscript categories.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Manuscript Preparation<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Manuscripts should be typed and double-spaced using Times New Roman font and 12 font-size in an A4 document. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The pages should be numbered consecutively, starting with the Title page and through the text and reference list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The manuscript should be ordered as follows: Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Text, Acknowledgements (if any), Funding information (if any), References. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tables and Figures should be included within the text and should be appropriately titled (see below).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The title page should contain Title, Name of Author(s), Author(s) Affiliation(s) and indicate Corresponding author. Email address of all the authors must be provided.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The title should be brief, specific and amenable to indexing. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Not more than five keywords should be indicated separately; these should be chosen carefully and must not be phrases of several words.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Abstract should convey the main points of the paper, outline the results and conclusions, and explain the significance of the results.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/upub.delhigreens.org\/jirsd\/author-guidelines\/manuscript-preparation\/\">Click here<\/a><\/span> to learn more about preparing the manuscript for JIRSD.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Information for Reviewers<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">JIRSD is a Peer-reviewed Journal. Articles submitted to JIRSD undergo a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/upub.delhigreens.org\/jirsd\/peer-review-policy\/\">rigorous Peer-review process<\/a><\/span> before they are considered for publishing in this Journal.
